ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates must have a secondary diploma (high school education or its global equivalent)
Candidates must have at least 1,500 hours of experience or 23 hours of project management education
Compared to PMP certification, which requires between 4,500 and 7,500 hours leading and directing projects (depending on whether candidates have a secondary certificate or a four-year degree), the CAPM accreditation requires 1,500 hours of experience. This certification can be related to working as part of a project team. This experience can be applied to practically any work setting.

ABOUT THE CERTIFICATION

The CAPM exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, 15 of which are pretest (unscored) and 135 are scored questions. The three-hour exam is eligible for one year after application clearance.
