RMP stands for Risk Management Professionals. The Project Management Institute (PMI®) defines risk as "an unknown event or circumstance that, if it happens, has a beneficial or adverse impact on one or more project objectives."
What is the validity for the PMI-RMP certification?
As part of PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements program, a PMI-RMP credential holder must complete 30 PDUs (professional development units) in the specialised field of project risk management every three years. You can earn PDUs by participating in professional development and learning activities, which will help you meet your ongoing certification requirements and grow as a practitioner.
If I fail, may I apply for re-evaluation?
The PMI-RMP test does not require re-evaluation. However, if you fail, you can retake the exam. Use the remaining two attempts within one year of your qualifying period.
