PMI Agile Certified Practitioner Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Educational Background:
Secondary Diploma: This includes a high school diploma, GED, or any global equivalent.
2. Agile Training:
A minimum of 28 hours of formal training in agile practices, frameworks, and methodologies. (Note: 21 hours will be accepted till 31st March 2025)
3. Agile Professional Experience:
Candidates must demonstrate agile experience as follows:
2 years of agile experience within the last 5 years.
Alternatively:
- 1 year of agile experience and a degree from a Global Accreditation Center (GAC) program.
- 1 year of agile experience along with an active third-party agile certification (earned more than 1 year ago).
- Or, hold an active PMP® Certification.
