T-Bosiet and CA-EBS Training Course Overview

The T-BOSIET and CA-EBS are designed to satisfy the safety training and core competency standards for all tropical warm water offshore oil and gas working zones. Geographically, tropical warm water operating regions fall between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn; however, they can also include places outside these zones that consistently have water temperatures above 590 F./150 C.

This training equips the participant with various skills and information necessary for working offshore and flying by helicopter, such as survival at sea, first aid, fire safety and basic firefighting, utilising a CA-EBS, and safety introduction. You will also learn how to escape from constrained and irregular settings in an offshore facility, a crucial skill for any BOSIET course. Some topics covered in this training section include boarding and general safety around a helicopter.

Learning how to survive at sea will provide you with the abilities you'll need if you have to abandon your platform or vessel or end up under the water for any other reason. So, join Vinsys Qatar to gain training and practical expertise with the equipment involved in the procedure, which is essential for long-term survival in high-seas environments. The certificate is valid for four years after completion of the course.

Medical Entry Requirements

The training routines involve components that are physically taxing and possibly upsetting. Ultimately, every trainer who takes part in these activities has to be able to contribute. Centres must guarantee that before learners engage in practical activities, they must either:

  • Have a medical certificate that is accepted by the employer and is comparable to an offshore medical certificate or
  • Gets screened medically by filling out the proper form of the OPITO-approved centre.
