You are given 230 minutes to complete the exam, though you may complete it in less time if desired. During the exam, there will be two 10-minute breaks:
• First Break: After completing questions 1-60 and reviewing your answers.
• Second Break: After completing question 120 and reviewing your answers.
Note: Once you start a break, you cannot return to the previous section of the exam.
After each break, you’ll sign back in and continue the remaining section(s) of the exam with the remaining time.
Retaking the Exam:
If you don’t pass on your first attempt, you may retake the exam. You are allowed up to three attempts within a one-year eligibility period. After three attempts, you must wait one year from the last exam date before you can reapply for the certification. During this one-year waiting period, you may apply for other PMI certifications.
